Various actions are planned in the “Lebendige Röhrichte – Reeds for Life” project to safeguard the biological diversity in the conservation area and restore the reeds. The most important measures are:

• Planting reeds
• Dynamising the water levels
• Clearing shrubs
• Controlling the coypu
• Accompanying studies of various plant populations, water and reed birds, bitterling and coypu.

Extensive public relations work is also part of the project. This includes the project home page, as well as flyers, information boards, press releases and various events.
